Pay : $24.86 / hour - $27.29 / hour

Includes a 10% shift differential*

Position

As a Stores Clerk, you will receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, and products for the company.

Stores Clerk Responsibilities include :

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Fills and / or creates requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code;

marking materials with identifying information and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.

• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Ensure parts are pulled, kitted, and ready in advance of actual production needs.
• Maintain inventory records; record amounts of materials or items received or distributed; keeping database system in real time.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
• Ability to comprehend and follow specifications and procedures.
• Proficient mathematical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Familiarity with cycle counting programs.
• Organizing and coordinating skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems

Working Conditions :

• While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
• Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled.
• Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
• Exposure to hazardous equipment.
• Exposure to contaminants.
• Shared workspaces with other employees.
• Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs.
• Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending.
• Standing and / or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
