This position requires an excellent command of the English language, including reading, speaking, and writing. The ability to communicate with customers is essential.

This position requires juggling a diverse workload day to day and keeping it all organized. The ability to communicate information to other employees as well as management in a clear and concise manner is essential.

This Position reports directly to the Business Owner. The Primary Responsibility of this position is to provide Maintenance & Technical services to Cal Subshine I & II Inc by organizing the overall facilitates and maintenance program for the organization / stores.

1. Deep Cleaning & Preventative Maintenance :

a. Place emphasis on routinely cleaning and maintaining specialized equipment (hood vents, pressure cleaning etc) and assets to ensure functionality and health code compliance.

b. Service Slicers Replace worn or broken parts

c. Service Bread oven

2. Restaurant Interior Cosmetic Repairs :

a. Paint and Patch Repairs

b. Repair : Tables, chairs, booth, cabinets, shelving, wall trim, baseboards, tile

3. Plumbing Services :

a. Snake clogged pipes

b. Faucets, drains, sinks and toilet repairs

4. Electrical Services :

a. Light switch, light fixtures repairs

b. Low Voltage : POS and Internet troubleshooting

c. Equipment power cord repairs

5. Responsible for contacting subcontractor if unable to perform request :

a. Track and schedule HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, appliance, plumbing and other facilitate related vendors for maintenance and repair.

6. Regularly communicate with Business Owner about store repairs and discuss project needs within and outside of skill set to determine best course of action.

7. Work with managers and routinely discuss (in a collaborative and productive manor) the facilities maintenance (deep cleaning) of the stores.

8. Conduct business in a cost-effective manor, this is an overhead position that must be productive and prove its cost effectiveness to the company.

Limit spending and only buy what’s needed at time of need, save extra supplies for future use and gain permission from ownership to stock any product for future use.

9. Identify needed facilities repairs and take responsibility for the 4-wall appearance of the stores.

10. Grow skill set across trades as required by Jersey Mike’s equipment and facilities.

11. Other Duties :

a. Manage schedule / time / workflow between PM maintenance, special projects and emergency store visits

b. Maintain accurate internal billing paperwork

c. Accurately maintain and assign purchases to work orders

a. Ability to maintain small parts inventory

b. Utilize and maximize all materials

c. Drive van sized repair truck and maintain truck cleanliness / organization of vehicle

d. Ability to maintain a professional uniformed appearance

e. Ability to communicate with store staff and train / enforce daily equipment maintenance requirements
