THE COMPANY :
This company is a nationwide manufacturer and wholesale supplier of industrial products, including heavy machinery fastening equipment.
Their loyal customer base enjoys their diverse product range, spanning distributors and manufacturers across various equipment types.
THE JOB :
This territory sales role is open due to a tenured sales team member reducing the number of states in their territory coverage.
The team now needs to hire a regional salesperson located in TX, OK, or AR. You would step into an established territory with an extensive customer base and growth potential.
With a 50 / 50 split between account management and new business growth, your goal will be to foster and expand business relationships to elevate sales within your territory.
Day-to-day this involves engaging with Buyers and Parts Managers via inside and outside sales activity, traveling throughout the territory to visit customers.
The right regional salesperson for this career opportunity will ideally have distribution industry experience working with aftermarket industrial parts.
THE QUALIFICATIONS :
- MIN 2 years of territory sales experience required
- Familiarity with distribution models or prior work with a distributor preferred
- Experience with aftermarket truck and trailer parts and cargo restraint equipment is ideal
- Comfortable traveling throughout the territory to visit customers
- Clean driving record
- Must reside in Texas, Oklahoma, or Arkansas able to travel throughout the territory to visit customers
THE BENEFITS :
$35,000 - $85,000 salary depending on exp and desired compensation split (do you prefer a higher salary, lower commission %?
Or lower salary, higher commission %?)
