Fire Alarm And Security Project Coordinator

Assist project managers, construction supervisors, field technicians, and sales representatives in the delivery of fire alarm and security projects in commercial, educational, and industrial facilities.
Manage scope of work, schedule, and cost with electrical contractors, general contractors, building owners, and end users for assigned projects.
Provide superior customer satisfaction through fast paced coordination and high volume communication.
Prepare and execute weekly and monthly project reporting.
Participate in weekly operations and monthly work in progress meetings.
Develop personal tools to track and monitor projects.
Maintain electronic project folder database with required documents as needed.
Perform change order management, tracking and upload in system.
Manage the release, tracking and expediting of SimplexGrinnell manufactured materials for delivery.
Purchase order management, including creation, communication, expediting, and tracking of purchased labor and material.
Assist in the scheduling of field technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
Perform billing in system and assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed.
Project closeout coordination and finishing the project in the system in a timely manner.
Ideal candidate would have experience with the following :
High school Diploma or GED.
2 or 4 year business degree preferred.
5 or more years in a high-volume, customer service oriented position.
Experience in a construction related industry preferred.
Ability to work 8 : 00AM 5 : 00PM, Monday through Friday and overtime as required.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be organized, detail oriented and self-motivating.
Proficiency with PC's and Microsoft's suite of Office software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software and databases.
Successful background check and drug screen.
