Supervisor : Assoc VPAA / Director – Cox Compass Center Schedule : Regular, FT, 12m, M-F, 8-5, hours may vary.

FLSA Classification : Exempt - Professional IPEDS Classification : 25

Job Summary :

Proactively works with members of the campus community to create usable, equitable, and inclusive learning environments for students at Drury. Receives documentation and requests for accommodation plans for Drury students. The Director develops a plan of action or accommodation for students experiencing barriers; conducts interviews with students and faculty; and reviews medical documentation to ensure equal access. Provides training, technical assistance, and consulting services to faculty, staff, administration, and students on universal design, reasonable accommodations, and local, state, and federal regulations and legislation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
