Overview :

Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country.
Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming.
The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between.
The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Job Description :
Omni PGA Frisco is hiring a Sales Manager. This role will fully develop the small Group market with the emphasis on Group production especially for short-term and higher rated, less price sensitive business to encompass all U.
S states, concentrating on the solicitation of new profitable business.
He / She will merchandise as skillfully as possible the guest rooms and function space to maximize revenue potential for the hotel and to ensure that the customer has the best possible meeting experience.
The ideal candidate will achieve monthly room night goals, develop and implement sales action plans, maintain positive interdepartmental communications and to complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Sales.
The position will start off in the office five (5) days per week, with the opportunity to earn remote days after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities :
Achieve monthly room night booking goals, handling group blocks from 10- 70 rooms on peak nights
Follow Booking Guidelines
Participate in sales trip targeting specific areas and group within market
Solicit accounts within assigned market segment utilizing FDC
Prospect and develop new accounts in line with the hotel's stated Mission Statement
Maintain aggressive weekly telephone, site inspection and personal call goals
Use all prospect sources as identified in the Sales Action Plan
Follow up promptly on leads generated by the GSO, other Omni Hotels & Resorts, and other lead sources
Achieve budgeted room nights, room rate and revenues
Is current with all market related publications to stay on top of all industry trends and uncover any potential leads
Achieve targeted referral goals for all Omni Hotels
Monitor Reader Boards of competition for potential sources of new group business
Is fully aware of all corporate sponsored promotions
Participates in development of administrative assistants
Maintain positive attitude and welcome change
Qualifications :
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively to perspective and existing clients
Minimum one-year of sales experience in a management role
Must have experience in "cold call" solicitation, contract closing, site inspections / visits with clients, setting up fam trips and contract negotiations
Proficiency in MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook) and Delphi
Four-year college degree is preferred
