Responsibilities :

- Consistent withthe ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing careutilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis,planning, intervention and evaluation for assignedpatients.
- Addresses increasingly complexpsychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient andfamilies in accordance with their level ofpractice.
- Using the appropriate protocol,administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effectsand effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.

- TNCC within 18 months for new hiresand experienced nurses new to the specialty; within 60 days forexperiences nurses in the specialty.
- TCARwithin 18 months for new hires and experienced nurses new to thespecialty; within 60 days for experiences nurse in thespecialty.
- CPI / De-Escalation within 12 monthsof hire.
