BECOMING OUR FULL- OR PART-TIME PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Schedule :

Full-timers work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday with flexibility for customer needs and on-call emergency services.

The part-time schedule ranges from 10 to 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, ideal for skilled technicians seeking supplemental income with customized scheduling.

Day-to-Day :

As our full- or part-time Property Maintenance Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks to ensure our properties are well-maintained and residents are satisfied.

You'll tackle drain or water supply leaks, faucet drips, door hinge repairs, lock changes, wall patches, painting, texturing, and more.

From handling light fixture repairs to gutter cleaning and pressure washing, no two days will be the same. You'll play a crucial role in apartment turnovers, maintaining records of work completed, and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications :

  • 2 years of experience as a residential maintenance technician
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and drywall installation and repairs
  • Physical ability to use a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment, handle chemicals, and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to provide own tools
  • Basic computer, phone, and other technology skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance with reliable transportation

A Multi-Family NW Association Maintenance Technician certification or similar is preferred but not required. Having flooring installation and repair experience is also preferred.

Being bilingual in both Spanish and English is a plus!
