Pay Information

$120 to $125 per hour

About The Position

Internal Medicine or NP Locums - Iowa, Outpatient Only

Outpatient primary care locums near Cedar Rapids; no call, no procedures, and fast credentialing.

Highlights :

  • No call or weekends
  • Full-time or 4-day workweeks
  • Credentialing in 30 days

Practice Setting :

  • Medicare-focused outpatient clinic (65+ population)
  • Team-based model : MDs, NPs, MAs, RNs, scribes
  • EMR : Canopy / Greenway
  • No procedures required

    • Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday, 8a-5p
  • 4-day weeks accepted
  • Initial 3-month contract with option to extend

    • Cases and Procedures :

  • Manage 16-18 patients / day
  • Typical internal medicine : diabetes, HTN, CHF, cognitive decline
  • Adult patients only

    • Requirements :

  • MD or NP with active Iowa license
  • Must be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid
  • NPs must be certified in family medicine (FNP only)

    • Travel Accommodations :

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
