How You'll Make an Impact :

As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Alley Cat & Dog Pet Hospital in Napa, you will uphold our high standards of client and patient care.

Your exceptional support during examinations and treatments will enhance the overall experience for pet families. You will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our pet patients, perform advanced tasks such as radiographs and triage support, and mentor junior team members.

Your dedication to professional record-keeping and collaboration with our medical team will be vital to our hospital's success.

Responsibilities :

• Managing appointment schedules and confirming appointments using practice management system.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Acting as client-patient advocate to ensure pet parent has received all pertinent information to the pet's healthcare.
• Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times

Qualifications :

• California Registered Veterinary Technician License
• 1+ years' of hands-on clinical experience
• Professional communication skills, verbal and written
• Proficient with business and veterinary technology and systems
• Ability to occasionally lift and / or move more than 50 pounds with or without accommodations

For individuals assigned and / or hired to work in California, VetnCare is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $28.00 to $38.00.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills sets, experience and training, licensures and certifications, education, and other business and organizational needs.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
