About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : NICU Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : 2 to 3 years of Level III NICU experience License : Must hold a valid RN license Certifications : Information not provided Must-Have : Must be able to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
Must be flexible with schedules to accommodate the unit. Job Description : Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for each infant.- Monitor and assess the health status of newborns, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.- Educate and support families regarding their newborn's condition, care procedures, and health management.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.- Travel within a 50-mile radius is discouraged for travelers.
- Complete required training modules on-site during orientation.Please note that all modules are billable, with registered nurses typically requiring 4-6 hours for completion.
