About The Position
Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider Job Specialty : Staff Augmentation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III), Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Must hold a valid license as specified above.
Job Description : Provide alcohol and drug counseling and other ancillary services to individuals on an assigned caseload.
- Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning.- Coordinate with other treatment services for individualized treatment planning using a coordinated treatment approach.
- Monitor attendance and participation progress in substance abuse programs.- Review case files and participate in program termination processes.
- Provide continuing care planning and intervene in crisis situations.- Review files for program admission consideration and treatment planning.
- Contact relevant authorities and specialists regarding client activities.- Develop and coordinate substance abuse programming for individuals with substance abuse or dual-diagnosis issues.
Note : A flexible schedule is required, including one late night per week (12 : 15 PM - 8 : 15 PM). This is a long-term assignment in a correctional setting.
