General Description :

The Program Controls Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with communications, database management and other duties as assigned.

This person will work closely with Project Managers and Project Staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assists and supervise performance of project processes and activities for project managers
  • Project coordination of core project functions which include scope, cost, time and quality
  • Assist with the development of fully baselined, logic-linked project schedules
  • Ensure accuracy of project schedules, updates, database entries, and perform version control
  • Assist the Project Managers to ensure that projects meet defined project timelines and stay within budget
  • Provide support in the monitoring of project schedules, milestone progress and resource allocations
  • Support the Program Manager in the development of Work Breakdown Structures
  • Consult with Project Managers and technical experts to establish project assignments, tasks and subtasks
  • Assist with project status report updates and maintain a history of revisions and document changes
  • Assist with proper project closure procedures including securing all required signatures, and ensuring that all interim and final project billing has been completed
  • Assist with the production of planning reports to capture Earned Value Management, Estimate To Complete and Estimate At Completion calculations
  • Perform coordination of cross-functional processes to monitor action items and ensure completion

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Must be able to support project governance and project status review meetings
  • Proficient knowledge of Primavera P6 and / or Microsoft Project
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Strong ability to multitask, work independently and manage all aspects of a construction projects effectively and efficiently
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). E-Builder experience is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years Project Control or related experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and detail oriented
  • Experience in providing financial tracking in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis and Accounting
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Valid Driver's License
  • The employee is required to be present in the workplace on a regular and reliable basis
  • Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm except for Local and Federal holidays; however, occasional evening and / or weekend assignments may occur.
