Description
Summary :
An OR Registered Nurse is responsible for providingpatient care in the OR environment. Delivery of patient carethrough the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning,implementation and evaluation.
In addition, the RegisteredProfessional Nurse delegates, coordinates, and supervises the ORteam members to ensure patient safety.
The OR Registered Nurse isable to provide direct and indirect care to patients.
Requirements :
A. Education / Skills
Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing orequivalent.
B.Experience
One (1) year nursingexperience preferred
C. Licenses,Registrations, or Certifications
Current RN license in the State of Texas.
AHA BLS required.
AHA ACLS required within 6 months.
PALSpreferred
CNOR - preferred
Medication Competence within two (2) weeks ofemployment
Computer Competence- withinfour (4) weeks of employment
