Job Title : Plant Manager
Location : Columbus, Ohio
Salary : $150-170K plus bonus
Job Summary of the Plant Manager :
The Plant Manager oversees all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing while ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
This position has the responsibility reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed, and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
Qualifications of the Plant Manager :
- 10+ years related experience / or training in a Plant or Operations Management role.
- Industry background in aseptic filling, dairy manufacturing or Tetra Pak Machinery, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably a B.S. in Food Science, Engineering, or Management.
- 3+ years of experience in Aseptic processing is highly preferred.
- Dairy or beverage manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Tetra Pak machinery experience is highly preferred.
- Plant start-up experience or Acquisition experience a plus.
- Ability to analyze downtime and financial variance trends, identifying actions to deliver expected performance.
- Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and metrics.
