Job Details
Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9 / 9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11 / 30).
Periop / OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11 / 30 deadline.
Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
- Pre-Screening Question : Does this candidate have experience with Collodion / glue EEG hook-up?
- Clinicians must be okay with working 5 x 8 days during their first week or two for training and must be okay with all patient populations and floating between Riley (peds hospital) and Methodist if asked.
- Shift : 3x12 19 : 00-7 : 30
- Types of Cases : Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care.
- Riley covers the adult hospital next door (University), so at time the team has to go do hookups, routines, and monitor adult patients.
We also have a MLD unit at Riley that has adults that need Neuro services and at times we help monitor adult patients from across the system.

- RTO Restrictions : Must work 2 / 3 major holidays. 1 Pre-Approved Time-Off Per Contract
