Position Overview :
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Raymore, MO.
This part-time position involves working 14 hours per week over 2 days. The role is itinerant, providing therapy services, evaluations, and attending eligibility meetings primarily on Mondays.
Experience working with special needs students is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple locations.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
- Participate in eligibility meetings and collaborate with educational staff and parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress and therapy sessions.
- Travel between school sites as needed to deliver services.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Missouri.
- Experience working with special needs students preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy interventions and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
