Customer Service Representative MENOMONEE FALLS , Wisconsin JOB REQUIREMENTS : - Answer incoming customer telephone calls.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers by ensuring the best possible customer satisfaction by providing expertise in the analysis of systems problems and logging parts calls and orders.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open parts orders to customers and co-workers. - Prepare all assigned reports and correspondence accurately and on time.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, problems and complaints regarding products, billing, applications, etc. - Address and resolve complaints and make recommendations regarding the return of parts and the issuing of credits to customers to maintain customer goodwill -.
Verify accuracy of items received from vendors with packing slips and stock the items in the proper location. Enter all required information into the computerized systems for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare documents, letters, correspondence, etc. as needed. - Provide inside support to the outside sales representatives as needed.
- Prioritize and schedule inventory control functions to maintain optimum levels of inventory and required materials needed to support manufacturing and shipping activities.
- Control Stock levels of parts inventory to minimize total inventory levels while still meeting orders and production schedules.
- Maintain an accurate perpetual inventory system - Perform quarterly physical counts on schedule to verify actual against recorded inventory levels, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels that optimize storage space. - Process various inventory reports as requested OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS : - High school diploma or equivalent - One to Three years of related experience;
or a combination of education and experience. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales orders, packing slips, inventory records, receiving documents and procedure manuals.
Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. - Ability to operate a variety of standard office machines, to include a computer, telephone, fax, copier, etc.
