We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Blaine, MN and have an opening for a Trailer Technician for our Mobile Service Trucks.

We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, willing to jump in and help out where needed, and a strong work ethic.

This position handles the complete repair and general maintenance of semi-trailers, as well as, all other styles and sizes of trailers.

SCHEDULE : 3rd Shift, Sunday- Thursday, 10pm- 8am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
• Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement / repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.
• Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Requirements :

• Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
• Welding experience a plus
• Basic tool set and tool box to start (assistance programs available)
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
• Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
• Honesty and respect

Our other location is in Clearwater, Minnesota. Although a smaller facility, it offers quality truck and trailer services you expect from any one of our locations.
