JOB TITLE : Advanced Aircraft Composite Technician I

LOCATION : Savannah, GA

PAY RATE : $21.21 / hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Summary :

Manufacture various composite aircraft parts to meet production specifications in a team-oriented environment.

Demonstrate competency in required manufacturing skills as outlined in the Employee Effectiveness Review.

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.

Use specialized tools and precision measuring devices (e.g., 6" scale, 1" micrometer, 6" dial caliper).

Inspect and verify all work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspection.

Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR / DI).

Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting company FOD and 5S programs, and adhere to all safety regulations.

Participate in and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 1 2 years of related composite experience.

Proficient in working with composite resins and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and 6" scales.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Must be willing and able to work any shift as required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
