Senior Front-End Java Developer

Techstra is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Developer to build and enhance modern Java microservices based enterprise applications and APIs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development using Angular, combined with a solid understanding of Java-based back-end technologies.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications with a focus on performance and user experience From the day you join, you will hit the ground running surrounded by amazing people.

Here is a look of some of the expectations and responsibilities for this position : Responsibilities Collaborates with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and features Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.

Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. Lead the design and development of front-end components using Angular, ensuring high performance and responsive design.

Develop and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs.

Proficient in Angular with a deep understanding of core concepts and best practices A key member of an agile scrum development team participating in planning, sizing, and requirements analysis sessions Write code, tests and deploys software Employ best-practices and standards with security and privacy in mind Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Implement responsive design principles to ensure a consistent experience across various devices Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code for front-end integration.

Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent degree Minimum 10 years of Java development experience using Java Spring Framework, Angular, and front-end development Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development Experience in triaging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.

Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.

and pursue leads to find root cause problems. Experience developing cloud native application leveraging various cloud services from AWS, GCP and Azure.

Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js). Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.

Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure). Treasury experience is a plus Relevant certifications in Angular or Java development a plus Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Location This position is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
