We are actively recruiting for a Systems Engineer, Level 2 to support our Engineering Services and Solutions Division , based in Annapolis Junction, MD .
Responsibilities include :
- Engineering support for TechSIGINT tool requirements and revitalization effort.
- Validate technical integrity of system design and deliverables.
- Requirements capture & analysis.
- Systems analysis, planning & collaboration.
- Research network topologies, architectures, protocols & storage.
- Documentation of systems.
- Information gathering regarding data or SIGINT network.
- Develop a high-level system design and network diagram involving all stakeholders.
- Determine and evaluate data and storage requirements.
- Provide engineering support to planning, development, integration, testing support during testing and evaluation of prototypes and systems.
- Assist SIGINT analysts with technical issues, as needed.
Ideal candidate will have 14 to 19 years of professional experience as a systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the federal government.
The candidate should analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Responsibilities also include :
- Analyzing system requirements and leading design and development activities.
- Guiding users in formulating requirements and advising alternative approaches.
- Providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Working as part of a team with project managers and customers to fulfill requirements.
- Developing technical documentation and system architecture.
- Guiding system development and implementation planning.
- Interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Must have a current TS / SCI w / Polygraph.
Pay Range : The proposed salary range for this position is : $176,915.00 - $198,720.23. Factors influencing final salary include geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
