About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2260 To $2512 Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty : Speech Pathology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 10-hour day shifts, every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility License : Active California license required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), COVID-19 Vaccine Certification Must-Have : - Experience with the Cerner charting system- Completion of a 12-hour orientation Job Description : - Conduct assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and exercises.- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Provide therapeutic interventions based on standardized practices.- Adapt therapy sessions as needed to meet patient progress and changing conditions.
