Overview
Senior IT Project Manager — Direct Hire, Irving, TX (Hybrid).
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical technology initiatives that drive operational excellence across distribution and retail environments. This role will oversee large-scale IT projects—ranging from ERP and supply chain platforms to retail and eCommerce solutions—while ensuring alignment with overall business strategy. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with hands-on project management experience, deep familiarity with retail and distribution operations, and a track record of success in Agile delivery and M&A system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects, including ERP, WMS, POS, CRM, eCommerce, and analytics solutions.
- Apply Agile and hybrid methodologies to deliver value quickly while maintaining governance and control.
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and change control across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Oversee IT integration efforts for M&A activities, including system consolidation, data migration, and process alignment.
- Partner with business leaders in distribution, retail, and corporate functions to define requirements and success criteria.
- Provide clear, consistent communication to executive stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights for decision-makers.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party delivery partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.PMP or PMI-ACP certification strongly preferred; Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.) a plus.7+ years of IT project management experience with large-scale enterprise initiatives.Strong background in distribution and retail technology.Direct experience managing M&A integration projects (business and IT).Proven success delivering projects using Agile and hybrid methodologies.Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.Ability to influence, align, and drive results across diverse stakeholder groups.Business acumen in supply chain, retail, and technology transformation.Compensation
