MANAGER CREDIT RISK REPORTING AND TRANSFORMATION

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Manager of Credit Risk Reporting and Transformation will be responsible for managing Second Line of Defense Credit Risk Reporting for City National Bank (the Bank).

This role will also participate in strategic projects focused on transforming Credit Risk Reporting to become a more efficient and automated production process.

This role will lead and be the primary point of responsibility for Executive Decks, Regulatory Related Decks, Board Presentations conducted by the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Credit Risk Colleagues.

Strategic Transformation Projects will initially focus on creation and remediation of credit related reporting, including recurring reporting for senior management, CNB Board, IHC and CUSO, as well as regulatory requests.

The role will report to the Manager of Credit Transformation and Portfolio Management and will work closely with key partners including the First Line of Defense Credit Products, Second Line of Defense Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Relations and 2LOD Financial Risk Analytics.

In addition, the role will provide project management and execution of CNB Credit related transformation efforts.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Manage the departments strategic initiative to streamline and transform Credit reporting
  • Coordinate across departments and legal entities to ensure appropriate implementation of CNB regulatory and management credit reporting strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with the departments colleagues to implement process changes and reduce manual production efforts
  • Manage CNB regulatory reporting change requests relating to CNB Credit Risk reporting for Management, CNB Board, CUSO and other regulatory presentations.
  • Manage remediation of internal audit and 2nd line of defense findings relating to automation efforts
  • Manage production review and control assessments as needed
  • Provide project management and execution of other CNB Credit related transformation efforts
  • Synthesize credit data to provide trend analysis and risk conclusion for board and regulatory reports
  • Present data and risk conclusions to management committees and regulators

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of credit, risk and reporting
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the banking or financial services industry

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work independently and manage numerous priorities simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Credit Risk
  • Strong managerial skills and ability to partner well with stakeholders
  • Manage and develop staff
  • Ability to execute thoughtful analysis and acting with a sense of urgency and purpose when facing challenges
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent PowerPoint and reporting knowledge / skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
  • Action-oriented and continually strive for improvement

COMPENSATION

Starting base salary : $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

This job is eligible for bonus and / or commissions.
