WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Sr. Manager of Experiential and Events Marketing, you will lead the creation of impactful experiences that engage our B2B clients and prospects.
This role encompasses the development and execution of a comprehensive experiential marketing strategy designed to enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and foster deeper client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Event Strategy Development : Design and implement a strategic experiential marketing plan that aligns with overall company goals, enhancing brand presence and engagement across various channels.
- Event Management : Oversee the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, and client engagements, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience across live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Collaboration : Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and integration of experiential initiatives, leveraging traditional marketing tools, cinematic storytelling, and innovative production techniques.
Partner with the creative team to define the look and feel of events, internal and external communication, vendor management (including events app).
Partner with PR and Product Marketing teams to develop content programming, tracking key performance indicators aligned with business results.
- Budget Management : Manage events budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing ROI for events and experiences.
- Measurement & Analytics : Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of experiential marketing initiatives. Utilize data to inform future strategies and enhance performance, conducting post-event evaluations and providing detailed reports on metrics such as attendance, engagement, and financial outcomes.
- Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing experiential marketing team. Mentor and coach team members, evaluate performance, and create individual success plans to foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Market Trends : Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for experiential engagement, ensuring our initiatives remain cutting-edge.
- Vendor Management : Source and manage relationships with vendors, including catering, audio-visual, and production services, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets contractual agreements.
- Execution & Logistics : Develop and manage event timelines and logistics, ensuring successful execution of all event elements, including speaker management, on-site support, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
GREAT TO HAVE :
- 7+ years of experience in event planning and production, with a focus on B2B experiential or event marketing.
- Proven track record of managing multiple events and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in utilizing data to drive decision-making and strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering innovative and memorable client experiences.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing event requirements and environments, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
- Willingness to travel across different regions as needed.
$120,000 - $135,000 a year
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant's reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
