CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities :
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist in the safe transfer and movement of residents, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for residents.
- Report any changes in residents’ conditions or behaviors to nursing staff promptly.
- Follow care plans and ensure residents' personal care needs are met.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and complete resident records.
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of care plans.
Qualifications of a CNA Certified Nursing Assistant :
- CNA in NJ
- LTC / SNF experience preferred
