Position Summary :

  • The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for new product development from concept through completion, ensuring that designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
  • The role includes maintaining existing products, troubleshooting, and providing technical support.
  • This position will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Engineering.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and embedded control systems for new products.
  • Design and layout custom PCBs using electrical CAD software.
  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers.
  • Design / manage Windows / Linux / Android-based software applications for product integration.
  • Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, and CE certifications for products.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source and validate new components.
  • Support the sales department with feedback on product upgrades and options.
  • Build test fixtures and interface them with external hardware or PCs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and field service issues.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital, and embedded control).
  • Experience in schematic / PCB design and simulation software.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and embedded firmware.
  • Familiarity with data bus architectures (I2C, RS232, SPI, USB, CAN).
  • Experience in HMI programming for PCs (Visual Basic, C#, Java, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic circuits and PCBs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
