A highly respected New York-based plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general negligence claims. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Manhattan, offering a dynamic opportunity for a motivated attorney to advance their career while working in a fast-paced, supportive legal environment.

Duties

Manage a litigation caseload of approximately 120 active personal injury cases

Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, providing updates at least every 60 days

Conduct file reviews to ensure case progress and compliance with deadlines

Draft and file complaints, motions, pleadings, discovery demands and responses

Attend and conduct depositions, court conferences, mediations, and hearings

Identify and monitor statutes of limitation

Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in representing clients

Collaborate with team members and contribute to firm-wide case strategies

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience handling personal injury litigation

Experience managing a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Demonstrated client service focus and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to take initiative and tackle a variety of legal responsibilities

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar

Additional language proficiency (Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Skills

Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

Courtroom and deposition experience

Strong oral and written advocacy

Client communication and case management

Legal research and litigation strategy

Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities preferred but not required

Commission on case settlements
