Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA with Caring Hands Staffing, you will provide essential care to patients, support their daily activities, and ensure their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Vital Signs : Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Mobility Assistance : Aid patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Emotional Support : Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Safety : Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements :

• Certification : Must have a valid California CNA certification.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience : Previous experience as a CNA is preferred but not required.
• CPR Certification : Current CPR certification.
• Background Check : Must pass a background check and drug screening.

California State Requirements :

• Training Hours : Completion of at least 150 hours of state-approved CNA training, including 100 hours of supervised clinical training.
• Competency Exam : Successful completion of the California CNA competency exam.
• Continuing Education : Ongoing education as required by California state regulations to maintain certification.
