Position Overview :
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Phoenix, AZ.
The successful candidate will provide essential healthcare services to students, promote health education, and contribute to a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, emergency care, and management of chronic health conditions.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and school policies.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with special health needs.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and academic success.
- Promote health education initiatives and provide health counseling to students and staff.
- Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations, including immunization requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of state and federal health regulations and guidelines for schools.
