Network Administrator - Security Clearance Required

Amentum is seeking Network Administrators to join our team and support our customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.

We are pipelining candidates for future roles in Colorado Springs, CO and Washington, DC .

Responsibilities :

Provide analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and / or data communications networks

Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures

Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability

Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed and interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance

Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution

Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment

Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures, standards, installations, upgrades, testing, and associated documentation

Mentor and train end-users and less-experienced network personnel

Compensation & Benefits :

HIRING SALARY RANGE : $130,000 - $145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Minimum Requirements :

PhD degree in an IT / network related field

Or a Master’s degree in an IT / network related field, and at least 2 years of network administration experience

Or a Bachelor's degree in an IT / network related field, and at least 4 years of network administration experience

Or an Associates degree in an IT / network related field, and at least 6 years of network administration experience

Or a High school diploma / GED, at least 8 years of network administration experience

Possess current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (which includes either a Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, and / or SSCP)

Possess current CCNA certification or equivalent (i.e. JNCIA or higher certification such as CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS, and / or GVF)

Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire.

Note : US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
