Job Title : Field Coordinator

Location : New Orleans, LA

Salary : $45,000 (Gas Card Provided)

Job Type : Full-Time

Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Field Coordinator to join our team in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily, on-site dispatching of employees, traveling between worksites in the New Orleans area, and sourcing and identifying suitable candidates.

This role requires reliable transportation, and bilingual skills are preferred but not required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and able to obtain a TWIC credential.

Basic Job Functions and Responsibilities :

• Daily on-site dispatching of employees, mainly stevedores and personnel assisting in port operations
• Sourcing and identifying candidates suitable for work
• Assisting with onboarding and orientation processes
• Review, check, and confirm that all employees have proper documentation, certifications, badges, etc.
• Review, check, and confirm that all employees have required PPE for the job
• Inspect customer job sites for safety issues that may affect Ameri-Force employees
• Prepare and submit company Site Safety Inspection (SSI) reports
• Report any concerns to customer HR and Ameri-Force risk management
• Work with customer representatives to ensure Ameri-Force employees are following directions
• Ensure and confirm employee attendance is timely and satisfactory
• Ensure and confirm that employees are following customer and Ameri-Force policies
• Record, prepare, and submit disciplinary paperwork for Ameri-Force employees as needed addressing policy violation, attendance issues, etc.

Required :

• MUST be able to obtain and hold a valid TWIC credential for work at the ports.
• MUST have Reliable transportation
• MUST be able to travel between worksites in the New Orleans area
• MUST be able to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
• Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)

Safety & Environmental Factors : Compliance with the company’s safety guidelines is crucial for maintaining a secure work environment.

This role involves :

• Operating in a potentially hazardous environment requiring careful use of equipment.
• Physical activities including standing for long periods
• Precise manual dexterity and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
