The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates ( LSCU & Affiliates ) is looking to hire a full-time Project Manager for the Association Services Team.

The LSCU & Affiliates represents nearly 300 credit unions and provides advocacy and regulatory information; education and training;
cooperative initiatives; media relations, and business solutions to support its member credit unions in fulfilling their mission of 'People Helping People.

As a Project Manager , you will have a diverse range of critical responsibilities. This includes leading LSCU & Affiliates teams through project life cycles to ensure projects are completed on schedule and managing various complex tasks.
You'll improve organizational efficiency by identifying and implementing streamlined processes, and you'll collaborate with external stakeholders to enhance the services offered to member credit unions.
Additionally, you'll support communication efforts through various writing assignments as required.
In the Project Manager role, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining cohesiveness across organizational projects, with a focus on preserving the brand's voice and process integrity.
This includes identifying essential information for cross-departmental sharing and pinpointing areas for enhancement, where your solutions-oriented approach will be invaluable.
Your involvement will extend to fostering greater collaboration across LSCU & Affiliates through regular communication and joint project initiatives.
You'll take charge of project management from planning to execution, overseeing stakeholders, and ensuring deadlines and benchmarks are met efficiently.
Maintaining organizational synergy is a pivotal aspect of the Project Manager role. You'll function as the central point of contact for projects involving multiple departments, ensuring cohesive collaboration.
Your initiatives will also focus on driving operational improvements through the implementation of policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing waste.
Your decision-making skills will be put to the test as you navigate project complexities and choose the best path forward among multiple options.
Quality control will be integral to your responsibilities, ensuring that project development meets and maintains expected standards throughout.
As a Project Manager , research will be integral to your role, particularly in identifying and recommending software solutions tailored to meet organizational needs.
Additionally, you'll support the communications team as a backup copywriter, assisting with tasks like newsletter creation and distribution.
Data entry and reporting from Salesforce will be part of your duties, contributing to the organization's data-driven insights and strategies.
Your willingness to explore new resources and implement relevant information will further bolster organizational effectiveness.
You'll also manage logistical tasks such as proofing, assembling, and distributing materials for meetings, ensuring everything is prepared to the highest standards.
Administrative support to Association Services members and completion of other assigned projects will round out your role, requiring strong prioritization, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of Administrative work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Project Management certification is required within 120 days of the start date
Work Schedule :
In the role of Project Manager, the standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional commitments during evenings and weekends.
There is limited travel, primarily within Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, requiring arrangements that may include both airline and car transportation.
A valid driver's license is mandatory.
