Key ResponsibilitiesProofread and edit digital Braille music files according to task ordersCompare digital Braille files with original hard copies to ensure accuracyMaintain a list of changes made and submit a proofreader's report with each task orderRequired QualificationsCertification in braille transcription by the Library of CongressBraille music certification at full level or associate level for selected tasksExperience in transcribing or proofreading BrailleKnowledge of literary Braille (EBAE, UEB) and music Braille standardsSome knowledge of multiple languages including French, German, and Italian
