About the opportunity :
- We are a successful Florida homebuilder is nowhiring a Financial Analyst. This role involves meticulous financialanalysis detailed reporting and dynamic strategic planning.
- The position is based at our corporate officein Lakeland Florida with regular hours scheduled MondayFriday from8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Candidates must live inCentral Florida or be willing to relocate to Central Florida forconsideration.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and assist with analyses and reporting on aweekly monthly and adhoc basis
- Performanalytical review of financial results against the plan / forecastand before reporting the results to management
- Ability to provide thoughtful explanations for variancesagainst expectations
- Produce monthly packagesincluding trends variance analysis and futureexpectations
- Assist with the preparation ofthe annual operating budget and monthly forecasts
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to supportoperational decisionmaking and provide insight into trends risksand opportunities for improvement
- Communicatewith coworkers and management in a courteous timely andprofessional manner
- Problem solving andcritical thinking
- Other duties asnecessary
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3 years working experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience in Microsoft Access is preferred
- Strong quantitative analytical and financialskills
- Detailoriented and accurate withnumbers and data
- Multitasking andtimemanagement skills with the ability to prioritizetasks.
- Selfmotivated having the ability towork independently and as part of a team
- Strong efficient communication
