American National is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our leading team of sales managers. Sales managers, called Multi-Line General Agents (MLGA’s), are driven leaders who serve as independent contractors.
Multi-line General Agents (MLGA’s) build and manage their own agencies where they recruit, build, motivate and mentor their own team of insurance agents.
We are specifically looking for a knowledgeable leader with a background in commercial and agriculture to open an agency in Tulsa or Oklahoma City.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a MLGA, you will be responsible for opening and managing your own agency. A successful MLGA is action oriented, extremely disciplined and has the ability to lead with enthusiasm and a great attitude.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Building and expanding agency by recruiting, motivating and inspiring a team of agents through a close mentorship program
- Leading education and training courses for new agents
- Meeting and exceeding agency sales and recruiting goals
- Growing your agency with constant education and application of industry specific business knowledge in your local market
- Connecting and networking with centers of influence in your community
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices, multiple line fundamentals, and state and federal legislation
- An established and current sales methodology
- Business development and personal management abilities
- A minimum of two years of proven success in the insurance industry with management / supervisory experience
Preferred education / experience / designations
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Professional designation (CLU, LUTCF, CFP, ChFC) preferred
- Experience in digital platforms and social media outlets
