Role Description

We are looking for a talented, driven, and successful senior associate attorney, of counsel, or seasoned attorney who is passionate about privacy law, data security, and related fields.

This is an opportunity to join our firm under a unique, hybrid compensation structure that offers the stability of a base income but with rewards based on an "eat what you kill" model, offering a favorable revenue split and unlimited upside potential.

We are seeking a professional possessing the secret sauce :

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build, grow, and lead a practice
• Currently stuck in a place where his / her / their talents are unable to be unleased and achieve their full potential
• Passionate about the law, their practice, the industries they serve, and the colleagues they collaborate with

This is a full-time role. Preferably on-site at the firm's McLean, VA office, but open to fully remote or hybrid arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust privacy law and data security practice.
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients on a wide range of privacy and cybersecurity matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, policies, and compliance documentation.
• Stay current with emerging trends and regulatory developments in privacy and data security.
• Actively engage in business development and networking to expand the practice area.

Qualifications

• Strong background in law, with a JD from an accredited law school
• Experience in privacy and cyber law
• Experience representing the needs of software and other cloud-based enterprises
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Membership in good standing with a State Bar Association
• Privacy certifications in good standing
