Overview

Intuit is on the lookout for highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates . This seasonal opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients toward positive financial outcomes.

About the Role

In this role, you will work onsite at a TurboTax location, providing both in-person and virtual support using Intuit TurboTax products. Your tax expertise will be crucial in :

  • Providing full-service tax return preparation and advice.
  • Understanding each customer’s unique situation to alleviate their tax-related stress.
  • Building long-term relationships and driving customer loyalty within the local community.

This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States on a seasonal basis.

  • Provide Tax Expertise : Offer hands-on tax advice and preparation services for a range of tax situations, from personal to business income.
  • Be a Proactive Community Ambassador : Cultivate a robust customer base by actively engaging with prospects and nurturing leads.
  • Educate and Communicate Confidently : Represent TurboTax in your community, hosting engaging learning events and demystifying taxes.
  • Build Relationships : Connect with clients to establish trust and turn one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
  • Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience : Create exceptional experiences that help clients achieve their financial goals.

    • Who You Are

  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
  • Willing to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

    • Compensation

    Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range varies by location :

  • Bay Area, California : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Southern California : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Colorado : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Hawaii : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Illinois : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Maryland : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Massachusetts : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Minnesota : $20.20 - $23.90
  • New Jersey : $23.70 - $28.00
  • New York : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Ohio : $20.20 - $23.90
  • Vermont : $22.60 - $26.70
  • Washington : $23.70 - $28.00
  • Washington DC : $22.60 - $26.70
