About The Position

experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferredLicense : State License Verification requiredCertifications : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Must-Have : - Completion of prescreening- Resume and License Verification- Covid test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior to start dateJob Description : - Perform duties under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients develop, recover, and improve skills needed for daily living and working.
- Assist in implementing rehabilitation programs for patients under the guidance of occupational therapists.- Monitor patient progress and report findings to occupational therapists.
- Follow safety procedures and infection control measures.- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills with patients and their families.
- Conduct background checks and comply with credentialing requirements.- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support patients in the activities outlined in their treatment plans.Please ensure you review credentialing requirements, including background checks and health screenings, to meet job criteria.
