You will work with NV5’s team of Engineers, Designers, Surveyors, Geotechnical Engineers, Wetland Scientists and Archeologists to deliver one stop shopping to your clients in Washington, Oregon, California, and beyond.
Candidate should have a minimum of twelve years of experience in relevant civil engineering design, construction, and project management with a focus on FAA AIP funded airport development projects with Part 139 airport experience.
Candidate shall be experienced in AIP Grant and State Funding for airport improvement projects as well as administrative requirements.
The successful candidate will work on multi-discipline projects as a project Manager. Our goal is to help you succeed with a diverse background of team experience in several different types of projects.
With your 12+ years of experience in the planning, design, and / or construction supervision of public works projects, you will play a key role in delivering projects for our client base at a wide variety of west coast airports.

Responsibilities
- Business development for targeted clients or pursuits
- Project Management for assigned airport development projects
- Design development leading an internal team
- Construction management of design projects
- FAA administrative interface and process support to clients
- Mentorship of junior staff
Qualifications
Education / Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington, Oregon, or ability to apply for reciprocity
- Desire to obtain California PE
- Experience and knowledge of FAA design standards and project development process
- Minimum of twelve years of relevant experience at General Aviation and Part 139 Commercial Service Airports
