Job Title : Millwright / Machinist $30 / hr

Job Description

As a Millwright / Machinist, you will be responsible for assembling and testing machinery and equipment using engineering drawings, machine build books, and SOPs. You will ensure high-quality work to the required standards in a safe manner, following company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and refurbish machines used in the beverage and can industry.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, overhead cranes, and test machines during the build process.
  • Interpret and work from part and assembly drawings, including GD & T.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently according to company standards.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum two years experience in the assembly and testing of OEM machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools safely.
  • Experience with manual milling machines, engine lathes, and surface grinders.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding skills, particularly MIG and TIG, are advantageous.
  • Experience in electrical wiring is a plus, though training will be provided.
  • Fabrication skills to create specific machine parts.

    Work Environment

    Work in a manufacturing / job shop environment with a close-knit team of approximately 24 individuals, aiming to expand to 35-40. Enjoy a relaxed dress code of t-shirts, jeans, and steel toes. The first shift runs from 7am to 3 : 30pm, Monday through Friday, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr.
