  • Communicate with business development, channel, CED business units, and key internal stakeholders to ensure all projects are ready for handoff to the Deployment (Construction) teams by tracking at-risk items that remain in place at the time of mobilization.
  • Build out project schedules to set milestones Pre-NTP and work with the scheduling team to update from project origination to handover to the Deployment Team.
  • Work with the Supply Chain Team to forecast required equipment orders by dates.
  • Identify and escalate risks to schedule, budget, and constructability in the Pre-Deployment phase.
  • Prepare bid package, negotiate with Subcontractors, and finalize Contract.
  • Work alongside the Deployment Team to develop and maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships that deliver quality work and support the company’s cost reduction objectives.
  • Lead process improvement efforts within Pre-Deployment and ensure alignment of Pre-Deployment schedules, tax equity commitments, and Nexamp SOPs and KPIs.
  • Support the due diligence process undertaken by independent engineers supporting Nexamp’s project portfolio’s Tax Equity Financing review in Pre-Deployment.
  • Monitor critical project milestones through the Deployment Stage (Mechanical Completion, Permission to Operate, Substantial Completion) and coordinate necessary third-party certifications required for financing.
  • Manage deliverables of independent engineers (reports, certificates, etc.) in tandem with applicable financing schedule.
  • Act as liaison between Nexamp technical experts and IE technical leads.
  • This role has the potential to have direct reports in the future.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Director of Pre-Deployment based on the Company’s needs.

What you’ll bring :

  • 5+ years of renewable energy project management or leadership in the construction field with working knowledge of civil construction, electrical construction, and utility construction.
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience.
  • Experience in Pre-Construction or early-stage Construction.
  • Cross-functional experience with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Business Development, Project Acquisitions, and Asset Management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.

We value accountability and an ownership mentality.

  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
