Overview
Credit & Collection Supervisor, Great Plains District at KONE
Location : anywhere within the Great Plains District (ideally near Kansas City, Minneapolis, Omaha, St. Louis, Peoria, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Moline). No relocation is offered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization\'s debt recovery process for a district, ensuring timely payments from customers and maintaining financial stability.
- Develop collection strategies, manage a team, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Achieve key strategic goals and implement business plans for the collections function.
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and financial performance.
- Provide leadership to a team to ensure proficiency in collections and effective resolution of escalated disputes with complex accounts and customers.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in collections or accounts receivable management; 3+ years of leadership experience in a collections or finance-related role is preferred.Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications in credit and collections management are a plus.Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of financial regulations and debt collection practices.Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy; understanding of credit policies and collection laws.Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting; strong project management and organizational skills.About the Role & Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and compensation aligned with experience and location. Annual base pay ranges vary by location and experience, with additional variable compensation based on company and individual goals. Specific ranges include :
Kansas City / St. Louis / Peoria area : $84,400.00 - $116,100.00Oklahoma City / Little Rock / Moline / Omaha / Wichita area : $80,200.00 - $110,300.00Minneapolis area : $90,300.00 - $124,200.00Variable compensation : annual bonus plan based on achievement of company and individual goals.
