YOUR MISSION :
Lead the Go-to-Market (GTM) process from a design perspective, ensuring all tasks within the GTM calendar are completed on time.
Maintain accurate setup and upkeep of all articles in the PAC and Creative Share systems.
Organize and prepare key meeting tools for Global Design Camp, Creative Pitchback, 50% & 100% Design Review, Line Freeze, and 360 Meetings.
Deliver aligned apparel and graphic design presentations to various groups.
- Collaborate with Senior Cross-Category Design Leadership, BU Management, Merchandising, Development / Sourcing, Technical Design, and Marketing.
- Drive seasonal material and product innovation initiatives from inception through go-to-market.
- Lead long-term strategies for Innovation & Sustainability in collaboration with the Development & Innovation team.
- Participate in Global Design Camp, then translate brand kick-off and Global Creative Direction into relevant and consumer-centric themes for the Golf BU.
- Travel domestically and internationally for seasonal process management, collection inspiration, trend and market research, and benchmarking.
- Collect and utilize market intelligence to keep the team informed on design trends, technologies, and developments.
- Challenge global brand positioning guidelines to incorporate new product ideas and necessary modifications.
- Manage function resources and budgets effectively.
- Align regional design output with overall brand strategy while maintaining regional product relevance.
- Mentor and manage the design team through creative vision and leadership.
YOUR TALENT :
- University or Art School Degree in Apparel Design, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant design experience in Golf or Sport as a senior-level apparel and graphic designer.
- 5+ years managing a team of designers with proven creative leadership capabilities.
- Understanding of apparel product design processes with hands-on design skills.
- Experience with technical products, fabrics, trims, product development, and quality requirements.
- Strong technical knowledge of fit, blocks, performance garment construction, and graphic execution.
- Knowledge of the Golf and Global Sport market, including competition, distribution, pricing, product, consumer, and retail environment.
- Trend and color analysis and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), and AI (ex MidJourney).
- Storytelling and communication skills for conveying seasonal stories and product initiatives.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a global audience.
- Strong team management and networking skills with the ability to manage key partnerships in multiple locations.
- Presentation skills and the ability to liaise effectively with senior management from brainstorming to final application of brand direction and commercial requirements.
- Passion for design in the sports industry.
The Hiring range base pay for this position is $135,600 - $197,285 + Bonus + Benefits.
