Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Worker to join our team. In this role, you will assemble fabricated parts, adhere to established procedures, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Your contributions will play a vital role in meeting customer requirements and maintaining our high production standards.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Follow established Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct guidelines.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies, install accessory components, and perform basic electrical wiring according to diagrams.
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality, engineering, and customer standards.
  • Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
  • Utilize lifting equipment to load, unload, lift, and move materials and products as needed.
  • Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to position materials and components accurately.
  • Complete and maintain electronic documentation, including checklists, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping materials.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Required Skills :

  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently, and more with assistance.
  • Competence in climbing and maintaining balance.
  • Manual dexterity for effective tool usage and product handling.
  • Capacity to work in non-climate controlled environments with temperatures above 95 F.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to use a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to visually inspect products for quality.

Required Experience :

  • GED or High School Diploma preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Basic proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
