As a Software Developer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in transforming healthcare data into actionable insights that empower clinicians, researchers, and administrators to deliver better care.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build user-friendly interfaces that enable interactive exploration and interpretation of patient health data for various stakeholders.
  • Work with back-end and front-end technologies to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with product managers and analysts to understand data needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
  • Follow best practices for code quality, security, and testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare data analytics, including machine learning, natural language processing, and distributed computing.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicating clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Understanding of data engineering principles and best practices, including data modeling, ETL / ELT processes, and data warehousing.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for driving positive change through innovative software solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems an added plus but not required.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, machine learning libraries).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of healthcare data, standards, and regulations (e.g. HIPAA, HL7).
