Overview
The Nursing Assistant will assist with direct research participant care as delegated by and under the direct supervision of the Clinical Research Nurse.
Responsibilities
The Nursing Assistant's Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Providing direct care and observation to assigned research participant(s)
- Phlebotomy
- Assisting with medical procedures such as the collection and processing of specimens
- Performing ECGs
- Maintaining of equipment, supplies, and routine nursing unit functions
- Other duties will be assigned as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Nursing Assistant in a Hospital or equivalent Health Care environment outside of a Hospital Setting is required.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Computer skills (electronic medical records and excel programs).
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
