Our client is seeking ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core Web Developer.

Candidate MUST be Local Metro Area Candidates and work onsite from Day 1.

The first few weeks will be onsite Monday–Thursday to collaborate with the current development staff and learn internal systems and business processes. After that, the schedule will shift to 2–3 days onsite per week, depending on agency requirements.

Role Overview

Our Web Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of both current and future web applications written using the ASP.NET framework and ASP.NET Core with C#. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, creative, highly motivated, and goal-oriented, with at least 5 years of ASP.NET development experience and strong knowledge of OIDC & SAML authentication.

  • Write clean, scalable code using ASP.NET Core and C#.
  • Develop and maintain both current and future web applications.
  • Collaborate with client user representatives to troubleshoot and design solutions that meet requirements.
  • Communicate effort estimates, work status, and potential issues with Project Manager / Team Lead.
  • Work effectively as both a team member and an independent contributor.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong time management skills.
  • Adapt to changing environments and work creatively with minimal supervision.
  • Follow written specifications and pre-established guidelines.
  • Provide clear written and oral communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Technical Skills / Experience

  • 5+ years in ASP.NET development, with .NET MVC Core and full lifecycle experience.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core C#, n-tier architectures, and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with OIDC & SAML authentication, Identity Server.
  • 3–5 years in Python development (Django and / or Flask).
  • Relational Databases (Oracle 11g / 12c, MS-SQL) – minimum 3 years.
  • REST API creation and consumption.
  • IIS, Docker – minimum 3 years.
  • Experience with Umbraco (ASP.NET Core CMS).
  • Proficient with Visual Studio 2022.
