Multiple Full-time Associate and Full Professor Positions in Climate Change and Health, School of Public Health

The Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) is seeking applicants for multiple Associate and Full Professor faculty positions in Climate Change and Health, one of the five strategic directions articulated on the School’s Strategy Map.

Scholarly activity in this area seeks to identify and reduce health threats posed by climate change across the lifespan, advance equitable solutions that prioritize the needs of those who are most affected by climate change, and / or support communities to better prepare for future threats to their well-being.

Given this multidisciplinary school-wide search, successful candidates may be appointed to any of the School’s six academic departments : Biostatistics, Community Health Sciences, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, or Health Law, Policy & Management.

Successful candidates will also be affiliated with the BUSPH Center for Climate and Health.

Required Skills

Successful candidates will have an established, extramurally funded research program; a track record of teaching and mentoring graduate students;

and provide service to the department, university and profession. We consider multiple disciplines and areas of inquiry to be relevant to the study of climate change and health, and we encourage candidates from a range of backgrounds to articulate the relevance of their research to this area.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent degree in public health or a related field.
